Vassel Brown

Managing Partner

Vassel Brown is a Management Consultant, financial analyst, trainer and retired banker who has extensive experience in Corporate, Commercial , Retail Banking,and the SME sector.As Managing Director of Government of Jamaica SME retail lending agency ,he was a member of the advisory group to the Minister of information and Technology in implementing Government of Jamaica Information Technology policies. He subsequently led the specialized lending unit that facilitated credit access for SMES who ventured into Information Technology. During his tenure in banking, his specializations were origination, analysis, and structuring credit. He managed numerous units of various commercial banks. He has lectured at Case in Financial Management and conducted training sessions for SMES lenders and personnel in the Credit Union and related Micro Sector. He served as Post Privatization Coordinator at National Investment Bank of Jamaica, in monitoring the activities of private sector stakeholders on behalf of Government of Jamaica during a period of divestment of the sugar industry. He has developed financial models for costing deliverables in the SME sector and has extensive experience in negotiating financing for public sector agencies. Mr. Brown currently serves as Chairman of the Iona Preparatory School, Vice Chairman of Iona High School, Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee of the Iona High School and is a member of its Human Resource Committee. He is currently pursuing the project management course leading to the PMP designation.

Nicole Brown

Managing Partner

Nicole Brown is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in Health Policy and Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked with international development partners, the private sector, SMEs, and NGOs. She previously worked as a Consultant at The World Bank, The Inter- American Development Bank, The Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF), Family Health International (FHI 360), Encompass & Lumin Consulting. Ms. Brown holds a Master of Public Policy degree and a Graduate Certificate in Health Administration and Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Economics at Mount Holyoke College.
